Fin des travaux de sécurisation de la desserte en eau potable à Cacao

La CACL informe les habitants de Cacao de la fin des travaux de sécurisation de la desserte en eau potable mis en œuvre suite au glissement de terrain survenu sur le Mont Cacao au niveau de l’installation du château d’eau. Les travaux débutés le 22 février ont duré 7 jours.

La CACL et la SGDE ont tout mis en œuvre rapidement afin de protéger les canalisations d’eau potable destinées a l’alimentation du bourg, au remplissage du réservoir et au lavage des filtres de l’usine de potabilisation.

Suite à ces travaux, la SGDE a procédé à la remise en état de la piste menant au talus et au nettoyage du terrain d’accueil du marché de Cacao afin de permettre aux habitants de bénéficier d’un cadre agréable.

Pour poursuivre son engagement en matière de sécurisation du réseau d’eau potable, la CACL a lancé des études de surveillance de l’évolution de la stabilité du Mont. En parallèle, la collectivité redéfinit le tracé des conduites définitives afin qu’elles ne traversent plus le Mont fragilisé par l’effondrement.

The CACL informs the inhabitants of Cacao of the end of the work to secure the drinking water supply implemented following the landslide that occurred on Mount Cacao at the level of the installation of the water tower. The work started on February 22 lasted 7 days.

The CACL and SGDE did everything they could quickly to protect the drinking water pipes intended for supplying the town, for filling the reservoir and for washing the filters of the drinking water plant.

Following this work, the SGDE proceeded to rehabilitate the track leading to the embankment and to clean up the reception area of the Cacao market in order to allow residents to benefit from a pleasant environment.

To continue its commitment to securing the drinking water network, the CACL has launched studies to monitor the evolution of the stability of the Mount. At the same time, the community is redefining the route of the final pipes so that they no longer cross the mountain weakened by the collapse.
