La CTG et le Rectorat pleinement mobilisés pour la rentrée scolaire 2021-2022

Gabriel Serville, président de la Collectivité Territoriale de Guyane (CTG) et Alain Ayong Le Kama, recteur de l’Académie de Guyane étaient réunis, ce jeudi 19 août, pour travailler sur les sujets prioritaires de la prochaine rentrée scolaire.

La réunion était organisée, en visioconférence, en présence :
▪ du Président Gabriel Serville et du Recteur Alain Ayong Le Kama;
▪ des élus Annie Robinson-Chocho, 2ème vice-présidente déléguée à l’Éducation et aux Constructions Scolaires, Philippe Bouba, 5ème vice-président délégué à l’Enseignement Supérieur et à la Recherche, Bernadette Duclona, 10ème vice-présidente déléguée à la Citoyenneté et au Vivre Ensemble, Isabelle Vernet, conseillère territoriale déléguée à la Réussite scolaire et à la Lutte contre le décrochage scolaire;
▪ des pôles Éducation-Formation, Transports, Aménagement, Ressources Humaines et Moyens Généraux et de la Direction de Cabinet de la CTG;
▪ des services Formation professionnelle et initiale, Information et orientation, Inspection académique et du Secrétariat général du Rectorat

Plusieurs points ont été abordés au cours de la réunion :
▪ L’affectation des élèves
▪ Le transport scolaire
▪ Les protocoles sanitaires

Cette réunion de travail montre une volonté forte des deux institutions de travailler en concertation afin de permettre à tous les jeunes de Guyane de regagner leur établissement scolaire sereinement. D’autres séances de travail, en visioconférence et sur le terrain, sont planifiées dans les prochains jours.

Gabriel Serville, President of the Territorial Collectivity of French Guiana (CTG) and Alain Ayong Le Kama, Rector of the Academy of French Guiana, met on Thursday August 19 to work on priority topics for the next school year.

The meeting was organized, by videoconference, in the presence of:
▪ President Gabriel Serville and Rector Alain Ayong Le Kama;
▪ elected members Annie Robinson-Chocho, 2nd Deputy Vice-President for Education and School Construction, Philippe Bouba, 5th Vice-President for Higher Education and Research, Bernadette Duclona, 10th Deputy Vice-President for Citizenship and Living Together, Isabelle Vernet, regional advisor responsible for school success and the fight against dropping out of school;
▪ the Education-Training, Transport, Planning, Human Resources and General Resources poles and the Cabinet Direction of the CTG;
▪ Professional and initial training, Information and guidance, academic inspection and General Secretariat services
of the Rectorate

Several points were discussed during the meeting:
▪ The assignment of students
▪ School transport
▪ Health protocols

This working meeting shows a strong will of the two institutions to work in concert in order to allow all the young people of French Guiana to return to their school calmly. Further working sessions, by videoconference and in the field, are planned in the coming days.
