Le projet SURVEY sur la Réserve Trésor

La Réserve Naturelle Régionale Trésor est devenue cette année un véritable site de référence pour l’étude des insectes en Guyane !

Le projet SURVEY, porté par la SEAG et financé par l’OFB, vise à développer un protocole de surveillance de l’entomofaune en Guyane au moyen de deux protocoles, et avec un essai pilote sur deux ans articulé en huit campagnes trimestrielles de trois jours et nuits consécutifs d’échantillonnage. Débutés en avril 2022, les relevés se poursuivront sur 2 ans jusqu’à janvier 2025, cumulant ainsi un total de 24 nuits et 24 journées de prospection sur la réserve !

Nino Page et Jérémie Lapèze sont les deux entomologistes réalisant cette étude. Ils étaient présents du 10 au 12 juillet sur la réserve Trésor pour la seconde campagne d’échantillonnage.

The Trésor Regional Nature Reserve has become a real reference site for the study of insects in French Guiana this year!

The SURVEY project, led by the SEAG and funded by the OFB, aims to develop a protocol for monitoring entomofauna in French Guiana using two protocols, and with a trial two-year pilot structured in eight quarterly campaigns of three consecutive sampling days and nights. Started in April 2022, the surveys will continue over 2 years until January 2025, thus accumulating a total of 24 nights and 24 days of prospecting on the reserve!

Nino Page and Jérémie Lapèze are the two entomologists carrying out this study. They were present from July 10 to 12 on the Trésor reserve for the second sampling campaign.
