Le Kawina, genre musical d’origine afro-surinamien, est une musique de fête dans laquelle les chants et les danses sont accompagnés de tambours et de percussions traditionnelles. Le groupe Saamaka (Saramaka) Suti Libi nous présentera son dernier album « Suti Baby » sorti le mois dernier.

23h LOOSHAN // Afro electro (Rennes)

Looshan signifie Lucian, comme les habitants de Sainte-Lucie, d'où est issue la famille de cet artiste multifacettes de Rennes, qui a grandi à Cayenne. Il livre sur scène, seul aux machines et au micro, une musique puisant dans ses enregistrements familiaux (Sainte-Lucie, Caraïbes) associée à un modelage électro en direct.

Le résultat, enrichi par la projection d’images live créées pour le projet, s’inscrit dans une esthétique « global bass » afro, affriolante et créolisée. Le show promet d'être exceptionnel !

Looshan means Lucian, like the inhabitants of Saint Lucia, where the family of this multifaceted artist from Rennes comes from, who grew up in Cayenne.
