L'aide et le soin en Guyane : entre interculturalité et pluriethnicité

L’université de Guyane organise du 9 au 13 décembre à Cayenne et à St Laurent du Maroni un colloque sur « les enjeux de l’interculturalité et de la pluriethnicité dans la relation d’aide et de soin en Guyane ».

Confrontés à la diversité des publics accompagnés, les professionnels de l’éducation, du soin et du travail social, sont conduits, qu’ils le veuillent ou non, qu’ils en aient conscience ou pas, « à faire avec ». En effet, aucun patient, aucun usager du travail social ne laisse son identité propre à la porte de l’institution chargée de son accompagnement. De l’autre côté, les professionnels, eux non plus, ne peuvent pas faire fi de l’altérité (culturelle, linguistique, identitaire…) des personnes qu’ils accompagnent. La différence qu’ils observent chez l’autre éveille la question de leur propre altérité, de leur propre identité et interroge leurs propres modèles culturels, tant professionnels que familiaux. Dès lors, les professionnels auront l’occasion durant ce colloque d’explorer cette réflexion à travers trois champs d’intervention mettant en jeu la pluriethnicité et la pluri culturalité en Guyane : le travail social, le domaine médicosocial et la formation des professionnels de la relation d’aide et de soins. Différentes modalités d’intervention (plénières, symposiums et ateliers) seront proposées afin de permettre aux professionnels et aux intervenants d’échanger sur les enjeux de l’interculturalité et de la pluriethnicité dans la relation d’aide et de soin en contexte guyanais.

Ouvert à tous, le colloque se déroulera les 9 et 10 décembre à Cayenne, à l’Université de Guyane et à l’Institut Régional de Développement du Travail Social (IRDTS) et les 12 et 13 décembre au Centre Administratif Intervention Technique (CAIT) de St Laurent du Maroni. The University of French Guiana is organizing a symposium on December 9-13 in Cayenne and St Laurent du Maroni on "the issues of interculturality and multiethnicity in the relationship of help and care in French Guiana".

Confronted with the diversity of accompanied audiences, the professionals of education, care and social work, are led, whether they want it or not, whether they are aware of it or not, "to do with". Indeed, no patient, no user of social work leaves his own identity at the door of the institution in charge of his accompaniment. On the other hand, professionals, too, can not ignore the otherness (cultural, linguistic, identity ...) of the people they accompany. The difference they observe in the other awakens the question of their own otherness, of their own identity and questions their own cultural models, both professional and family. Therefore, professionals will have the opportunity during this conference to explore this reflection through three areas of intervention involving multi-ethnicity and multiculturalism in French Guiana: social work, the medico-social field and the training of professionals in the field. relationship of help and care. Different modalities of intervention (plenary sessions, symposiums and workshops) will be proposed to enable professionals and stakeholders to discuss the issues of interculturality and multiethnicity in the relationship of help and care in a Guyanese context.

Open to all, the conference will take place on December 9 and 10 in Cayenne, the University of French Guiana and the Regional Institute of Social Work Development (IRDTS) and December 12 and 13 at the Technical Intervention Administrative Center (CAIT) from St Laurent du Maroni.
