Deux cas détectés à l’hôtel territorial

Ce vendredi 26 juin 2020, deux agents exerçant leurs missions au siège de la Collectivité Territoriale de Guyane ont été testés positifs au coronavirus COVID-19.

Présentant des symptômes hier, ils avaient effectués un test par précaution dans la journée de jeudi, et s’étaient ensuite isolés à leur domicile le même jour.

Dès la remontée des résultats ce matin, les équipes territoriales ont réagi et respecté le protocole à appliquer en de pareilles circonstances.

Quand bien même la durée de vie du virus à l’air libre serait estimée à six heures, les locaux et bureaux des services concernés sont en cours de désinfection minutieuse par une entreprise spécialisée.

Les agents ayant été en contact ont été invités à rentrer chez eux en fin de matinée, et il a été organisé pour eux une session de tests par prélèvement nasal au drive test Biosoleil installé à l’IFAS. Le Président de la Collectivité Territoriale, Rodolphe Alexandre, ayant été lui aussi en contact avec ces deux agents, a de nouveau fait un test également.

En fonction des résultats, qui seront connus sous 48 heures :
- Les éventuels cas positifs seront amenés à effectuer une quatorzaine à leur domicile ;
- Les cas négatifs reprendront le travail dès lundi après un rappel des gestes barrières à adopter, déjà bien maîtrisés par l’ensemble des équipes territoriales, et effectueront un nouveau test sous 7 jours.

Depuis le début de la crise, chaque service dispose pour ses agents de solutions hydroalcooliques, de masques et de produits désinfectants. Le ménage des locaux s’est également adapté à la situation.

Le Président de la Collectivité Territoriale de Guyane, Rodolphe Alexandre, reste très attentif à l’évolution de l’état de santé des deux agents testés positifs, et invite une nouvelle fois chacune et chacun à se protéger et à sensibiliser ses proches.

Les gestes barrières et les mesures de protection valent partout : sur son lieu de travail mais aussi à son domicile ou lors de démarches au quotidien.

This Friday, June 26, 2020, two agents carrying out their missions at the headquarters of the Territorial Collectivity of French Guiana were tested positive for the COVID-19 coronavirus.

Showing symptoms yesterday, they had taken a precautionary test on Thursday, and then isolated themselves at their home the same day.

As soon as the results came back this morning, the territorial teams reacted and respected the protocol to be applied in such circumstances.

Even if the life of the virus in the open air is estimated at six hours, the premises and offices of the departments concerned are being thoroughly disinfected by a specialized company.

The officers who had been in contact were invited to return home at the end of the morning, and a session of nasal swab tests was organized for them at the Biosoleil drive test installed at IFAS. The President of the Territorial Collectivity, Rodolphe Alexandre, having also been in contact with these two agents, again took a test.

Depending on the results, which will be known within 48 hours:
- Any positive cases will be required to perform a fortnight at their home;
- Negative cases will resume work on Monday after a reminder of the barrier gestures to be adopted, already well mastered by all the territorial teams, and will carry out a new test within 7 days.

Since the beginning of the crisis, each service has had hydroalcoholic solutions, masks and disinfectants for its agents. Housekeeping has also adapted to the situation.

The President of the Territorial Collectivity of French Guiana, Rodolphe Alexandre, remains very attentive to the evolution of the state of health of the two agents tested positive, and once again invites each and everyone to protect themselves and to educate their loved ones.
