Reprise de l’activité de chirurgie programmée

Une coopération entre le CHC et l’Hôpital privé Saint-Gabriel (ex Clinique Véronique) pour l’activité de chirurgie démarre à compter du mercredi 29 juillet. Une salle d’intervention du bloc opératoire de l’hôpital privé est mise à disposition des chirurgiens du Centre hospitalier de Cayenne du lundi au vendredi pour réaliser des interventions chirurgicales programmée.

Les activités de chirurgie urgente et la cancérologie sont maintenues au Centre hospitalier de Cayenne.
Cette collaboration, pour la chirurgie programmée, fait suite, d’une part, à l'occupation de certaines salles de réveil du CHC par les nouvelles unités Covid créées dans l’établissement et, d’autre part, de la nécessité de prendre en charge les patients en attente d’une intervention.

Cette activité délocalisée à l’hôpital privé Saint-Gabriel sera réalisée sous la responsabilité des chirurgiens du Centre hospitalier de Cayenne.

Le parcours du patient demeure identique : les prises en charge sécurité sociale + mutuelle sont prises en compte comme elles l’auraient été au CHC.

Le partenariat entre les deux établissements s’organise ainsi :
- La consultation pré-anesthésique sera réalisée par les anesthésistes de l’Hôpital Saint-Gabriel
- Les actes chirurgicaux et la permanence des soins seront réalisés par les chirurgiens du CHC avec le personnel paramédical de l’Hôpital Saint-Gabriel

Parcours du patient en chirurgie programmée :
1. Consultation chirurgien : au CHC
2. Consultation pré-anesthésique pré interventionnelle : hôpital Saint-Gabriel
3. Hospitalisation + intervention chirurgicale : Saint-Gabriel
4. Suivi lors de l’hospitalisation : à Saint-Gabriel par un chirurgien du CHC
5. Visite post hospitalisation : au CHC

Cooperation between the CHC and the Saint-Gabriel private hospital (formerly Clinique Véronique) for the surgical activity starts from Wednesday July 29. An operating room in the operating room of the private hospital is made available to surgeons at the Cayenne Hospital Center from Monday to Friday to perform scheduled surgical procedures.

Urgent surgery and oncology activities are maintained at the Cayenne Hospital Center.
This collaboration, for scheduled surgery, follows, on the one hand, the occupation of certain recovery rooms in the CHC by the new Covid units created in the establishment and, on the other hand, the need to take charges patients awaiting intervention.

This relocated activity to the Saint-Gabriel private hospital will be carried out under the responsibility of surgeons from the Cayenne Hospital Center.

The patient's journey remains the same: social security + mutual insurance coverage is taken into account as it would have been at the CHC.

The partnership between the two establishments is organized as follows:
- The pre-anesthetic consultation will be performed by the anesthesiologists of Saint-Gabriel Hospital
- Surgical procedures and on-going care will be performed by CHC surgeons with paramedical staff from Saint-Gabriel Hospital
