Opération Octobre rose au CHC

Dans le cadre d'Octobre rose, mois dédié à la lutte contre le cancer du sein, les équipes du CHC organisent une matinée d'information et de sensibilisation ce mercredi 28 octobre 2020.

Différentes actions sont prévues :
1. Le personnel du CHC, est invité à porter un foulard (sur la tête, au poignet, à la ceinture...) pour marquer sa solidarité envers les femmes atteintes de cancer. Le foulard, utilisé par certaines femmes pour masquer la perte de cheveux lors des traitements est ainsi érigé en accessoire de beauté.

2. L'association Nou chivé proposera des ateliers "maré tèt" aux patientes pour leur apprendre à nouer le foulard.

3. Le personnel est le public sont invités à offrir des foulards qui seront redistribués aux patientes. Dans ce même objectif, des foulards peuvent être achetés sur place auprès de l'association partenaire.

4. Des stands, tenus par le Réseau Onco Guyane et le Centre régional de coordination des dépistages des cancers (ex AGdoc) seront proposés au public de 9h à 13h au Pôle Femme Enfant.

Les médecins et personnes en charge de l'organisation se rendront disponibles entre 10h et 11h.

As part of Pink October, a month dedicated to the fight against breast cancer, the CHC teams are organizing an information and awareness morning this Wednesday, October 28, 2020.

Different actions are planned:
1. CHC staff are invited to wear a headscarf (on the head, on the wrist, on the belt, etc.) to show their solidarity with women with cancer. The headscarf, used by some women to hide hair loss during treatments, has thus become a beauty accessory.

2. The Nou chivé association will offer “maré tèt” workshops to patients to teach them how to tie the scarf.

3. The staff and the public are invited to offer scarves which will be redistributed to the patients. For the same purpose, scarves can be purchased on site from the partner association.

4. Stands, run by the Onco Guyane Network and the Regional Center for the Coordination of Cancer Screenings (formerly AGdoc) will be offered to the public from 9 am to 1 pm at the Woman Child Center.

The doctors and people in charge of the organization will make themselves available between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m.
