Renouvellement des opérations « paniers solidaires »

L’Université de Guyane, en partenariat avec la CCAS de Cayenne, l’association Humanity First, le CLOUS de Guyane et certaines grandes surfaces de l’agglomération renouvelle l’opération « paniers solidaires ». Cette opération qui a été mise en place durant la période du confinement et renouveler à plusieurs reprises consistent à offrir aux étudiants en difficultés un panier composé des produits de premières nécessités.

L’opération va débuter ce jeudi 25 février avec la distribution de 650 "paniers repas solidaires" aux étudiants les plus démunis. La crise sanitaire a particulièrement touché notre jeunesse, que ce soit au niveau local, national voir international. Disparition des petits boulots, plus de stages rémunérés, ni d’alternance, perte d’emploi... Nombre d’étudiants n’arrivent plus à joindre les deux bouts et la précarité chez cette catégorie de la population ne cesse d’augmenter mois après mois. Ces paniers seront donc adressés principalement aux étudiants les plus précaires, sans ressources familiales, ou pour les étudiants étrangers qui ne peuvent pas rentrer en famille en raison du contexte.

La distribution de ces repas se fera ce jeudi 25 février 2021 de 11h00 à 14h00 devant les bâtiments C, D, E et G du campus Troubiran de l’Université de Guyane.

The operation will begin this Thursday, February 25 with the distribution of 650 "solidarity lunch baskets" to the most disadvantaged students. The health crisis has particularly affected our youth, whether at the local, national or international level. Disappearance of odd jobs, no more paid internships, no work-study program, job loss ... Many students can no longer make ends meet and the precariousness of this category of the population continues to increase. after month. These baskets will therefore be addressed mainly to the most precarious students, without family resources, or for foreign students who cannot return to their family due to the context.

The distribution of these meals will be this Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm in front of buildings C, D, E and G of the Troubiran campus of the University of French Guiana.
