Réaction de Gabriel Serville à la manifestations contre l’obligation vaccinale

Le président de la Collectivité Territoriale de Guyane exprime sa vive préoccupation au terme de plusieurs jours de tension sur le territoire, dans le contexte des manifestations contre la mise en place de l'obligation vaccinale.

Les troubles qui ont agité le territoire fragilisent sa cohésion, et pour ne pas risquer d'entrer dans une spirale dangereuse le président appelle à l'application la plus modérée possible de la loi pénale.

Sur le fond, le président poursuit ses échanges avec Paris pour obtenir un moratoire de la mise en place de l'obligation vaccinale. Dans un courrier au Premier ministre, il a insisté pour que cette piste de solution soit explorée d'un commun accord.

The president of the Territorial Collectivity of French Guiana expresses his deep concern at the end of several days of tension on the territory, in the context of the demonstrations against the implementation of the vaccination obligation.

The disturbances which have agitated the territory weaken its cohesion, and in order not to risk entering a dangerous spiral, the president calls for the most moderate possible application of the criminal law.

On the merits, the president continues his discussions with Paris to obtain a moratorium on the implementation of the vaccination obligation. In a letter to the Prime Minister, he insisted that this possible solution be explored by mutual agreement.
