400 000 euros de la Fondation du Patrimoine pour la restauration de l’immeuble Franconie

La Collectivité Territoriale de Guyane, lauréate du Loto du Patrimoine pour l’immeuble Franconie, recevra, à l’occasion des Journées du Patrimoine, un chèque de 400 000 euros de la Fondation du Patrimoine. L’immeuble Franconie fait partie des 18 projets emblématiques nationaux dévoilés en avril 2021 à l’occasion de la 4e édition de la Mission Patrimoine pour la sauvegarde du patrimoine en péril, confiée par le Président de la République à Stéphane Bern, et soutenue par la Fondation du patrimoine, le ministère de la culture et la Française des Jeux.

Inscrit comme monument historique, il est composé de plusieurs bâtiments.

Les deux principaux hébergent les plus anciennes institutions culturelles de Guyane :
- la bibliothèque territoriale Alexandre-Franconie, créée en 1885 ;
- le musée territorial Alexandre-Franconie, créé en 1901.

Ces bâtiments feront l’objet d’une opération d’envergure en plusieurs phases :

- Zoom sur la Phase 1 - bâtiment de l’ancienne conciergerie (2021-2022)
Budget prévisionnel : 1 250 000 €
Financement :

  • La CTG : 60 % sur fonds propres
  • Les services de l’Etat : 40 %, inscrits sur le plan de relance
  • La Fondation du Patrimoine par le biais du Loto du Patrimoine

2021, de 400 000 euros. Cette dotation entraînera une modulation de la répartition du financement global.

Durée prévisionnelle des travaux: 10 mois.

The Territorial Collectivity of French Guiana, winner of the Heritage Loto for the Franconia building, will receive, on the occasion of Heritage Days, a check for 400,000 euros from the Heritage Foundation. The Franconia building is one of the 18 emblematic national projects unveiled in April 2021 on the occasion of the 4th edition of the Heritage Mission for the safeguarding of heritage in danger, entrusted by the President of the Republic to Stéphane Bern, and supported by the Heritage Foundation, the Ministry of Culture and the Française des Jeux.

Listed as a historical monument, it is made up of several buildings.

The two main ones host the oldest cultural institutions in French Guiana:
- the Alexandre-Franconie territorial library, created in 1885;
- the Alexandre-Franconie territorial museum, created in 1901.

These buildings will be the subject of a large-scale operation in several phases:

- Zoom on Phase 1 - former concierge building (2021-2022)
Estimated budget: € 1,250,000
Funding:

    CTG: 60% on own funds
    State services: 40%, included in the recovery plan
    The Heritage Foundation through the Heritage Loto

2021, 400,000 euros. This allocation will lead to a modulation of the distribution of global funding.

Estimated duration of the work: 10 months.
