Décès du Yopoto Julien PIERRE

Les membres du Comité Directeur du Parti Socialiste Guyanais, ont appris avec beaucoup de tristesse de la disparition du Yopoto Julien PIERRE.

«Chef avec un franc-parler, qui a su être le porte-parole des revendications légitimes de reconnaissance et de préservation de la culture amérindienne.

Chef visionnaire ayant mus en œuvre des initiatives pour développer des activités économiques et permettant ainsi aux habitants du village Pierre de trouver des sources de revenus pérennes, leur offrant de surcroît la possibilité d’accéder à du foncier.

Chef avec un esprit d’ouverture, ayant eu la volonté de favoriser le vivre-ensemble à travers des manifestations sportives et culturelles ouvertes à tous.

Le Parti Socialiste Guyanais exprime ses plus sincères condoléances à sa famille, ses enfants et aux habitants du Village Pierre et leur témoigne tout son soutien.»
