Levée du Plan Blanc au Centre hospitalier de Cayenne, Kourou et de l'Ouest Guyanais

Compte tenu de l’évolution de la situation épidémiologique en Guyane, le directeur du centre hospitalier de Cayenne (CHC), le directeur du Centre hospitalier de l’Ouest Guyanais (CHOG) et la directrice du Centre hospitalier de Kourou (CHK) ont décidé de lever le plan blanc ce jour, mercredi 17 novembre 2021 à 12 heures.

Le plan blanc avait été déclenché le 23 avril dernier de manière commune dans les trois hôpitaux du Groupement hospitalier de territoire afin de faire face à l’augmentation importante du nombre d’hospitalisations Covid-19.
Il est à noter que la levée du Plan blanc ne signifie en aucun cas une sortie de crise pour la totalité des activités. En effet, il existe à ce jour une forte tension sur le secteur de la périnatalité où les trois établissements doivent faire face à un accroissement important d’activité et pour laquelle ils peinent à recruter des infirmiers spécialisés en puériculture.

Cette sortie du Plan blanc redéfinit les axes stratégiques de la gestion de crise pour le CHC, le CHOG et le CHK qui sont, donc, toujours considérés comme des hôpitaux en tension.

En concertation avec les différents établissements du GHT, la reprise des activités et consultations se fera selon les modalités communiquées par ces derniers.

Les professionnels des trois centres hospitaliers sont pleinement mobilisés pour faire face à la crise sanitaire. Les directions du CHC, du CHOG et du CHK tiennent à saluer leur courage et leur engagement permanent.

In view of the evolution of the epidemiological situation in French Guiana, the director of the Cayenne Hospital Center (CHC), the Director of the West Guyanese Hospital Center (CHOG) and the Director of the Kourou Hospital Center (CHK) have decided to lift the White Plan today, Wednesday November 17, 2021 at 12 noon.

The White Plan was launched on April 23 jointly in the three hospitals of the Groupement hospitalier de territoire in order to cope with the significant increase in the number of Covid-19 hospitalizations.

It should be noted that the lifting of the White Plan does not in any way mean an end to the crisis for all activities. Indeed, to date, there is strong tension in the perinatal sector where the three establishments have to cope with a significant increase in activity and for which they are struggling to recruit nurses specializing in childcare.

This exit from the White Plan redefines the strategic axes of crisis management for the CHC, CHOG and CHK which are, therefore, still considered as hospitals in tension.

In consultation with the various GHT establishments, the resumption of activities and consultations will be carried out according to the terms communicated by them.

Professionals from the three hospitals are fully mobilized to face the health crisis. The management of the CHC, CHOG and CHK would like to salute their courage and their permanent commitment.
