Poursuite des travaux d’étanchéité au bloc opératoire du CHC

Les travaux d’étanchéité se poursuivent au bloc opératoire du Centre hospitalier de Cayenne.
Ces travaux ont été décidés en mars 2021 afin d’apporter une étanchéité totale, à l’air humide et à l’eau à l’ensemble des salles de bloc.

Après huit mois d’études, un appel d’offres a été lancé fin 2021 afin de réaliser un étage technique, destiné à protéger durablement les installations techniques et permettre d’engager, dans une deuxième phase, des travaux complets de refonte des infrastructures. Ces grands travaux sur les blocs opératoires s’échelonneront sur les cinq prochaines années.

Ces dernières semaines, les travaux d’étanchéité ont démarré. Lors de ces interventions prévues et programmées, un incident technique a provoqué un dégât des eaux qui a obligé l’établissement à fermer certaines des huit salles d’opération, sans obérer toutefois sa capacité à prendre en charge l’ensemble des urgences chirurgicales générales et gynécologiques du territoire.

La réparation a été faite et les analyses sont actuellement en cours afin de valider la réouverture de l’ensemble des salles d’opération.

Dans l’attente de la réouverture de toutes ses salles, le Centre hospitalier de Cayenne a pu compter sur la collaboration de l’Hôpital privé Saint-Gabriel qui, en mettant à disposition une partie de ses salles de bloc opératoire permet le maintien des interventions chirurgicales non urgentes programmées par le CHC. Le CHC fournit les moyens humains et financiers nécessaires à la bonne tenue de ces activités.

Les opérations d’urgence et plus complexes nécessitant un plateau hospitalier complet continuent, elles, d’être réalisées au CHC dans les salles ouvertes et totalement fonctionnelles.

After eight months of studies, a call for tenders was launched at the end of 2021 in order to create a technical floor, intended to protect the technical installations in the long term and to allow the start, in a second phase, of complete work to overhaul the infrastructures. These major works on the operating theaters will be spread over the next five years.

In recent weeks, the waterproofing work has started. During these planned and scheduled interventions, a technical incident caused water damage which forced the establishment to close some of the eight operating rooms, without however compromising its ability to take charge of all general surgical emergencies and gynecological services of the territory.

The repair has been carried out and the analyzes are currently in progress in order to validate the reopening of all the operating rooms.

Pending the reopening of all its rooms, the Cayenne Hospital Center has been able to count on the collaboration of the Saint-Gabriel Private Hospital which, by making part of its operating theater rooms available, allows the maintenance of interventions. non-emergency surgeries scheduled by the CHC. The CHC provides the human and financial resources necessary for the proper conduct of these activities.

Emergency and more complex operations requiring a full hospital platform continue to be carried out at the CHC in the open and fully functional rooms.
