Jazz en Live

Jeudi 29 avril 2021, de 11h00 à 13h00 à l'Hôtel de Ville de Matoury.

Dans le cadre de la Journée Internationale du Jazz, et après le succès de la 1ère édition MATOURY FAIT SON JAZZ (avril 2019), la ville de Matoury et son École de Musique et de Danse Victor CLET marquent à nouveau l’événement à travers un mini-concert sur le parvis de l’hôtel de ville.

Passants et visiteurs venus effectués des démarches administratives profiteront d’une touche musicale, de quoi adoucir les mœurs en ces temps contraints.

Pour une diffusion plus large et compte-tenu du contexte sanitaire, une retransmission en Facebook Live sera proposée au public.

Focus sur la programmation :
11h05 – 11h45 | Quintet Gang
Le Quintet Gang est composé de deux professeurs de l’EMD Victor Clet : Jacques SAINTE-ROSE-FANCHINE (piano) et Edwin MARIE (batterie) ; et de trois musiciens de la scène musicale guyanaise : Georges MAC (percussions), Erwan ESCOUPLIER (saxophone) et Jean VALMINOS (guitare basse).

Cette formation de latin jazz interprètera des compositions de Paquito d’Rivera et de Mango Santamaria.

11h50 – 13h00 | Pwojè Jazz
Le Pwojè Jazz est composé de cinq professeur de l’EMD Victor Clet : Gilbert BINTA (guitare basse), Hervé « HB KING » BISSERETH (saxophone, flûte traversière), Yves-Emmanuel COULANGES (piano), Alex CORVO (vocal) et Benoit CANAC (saxophone, clarinette) ; et de Christian BARDOUX (batterie), un musicien de la scène musicale guyanaise.

Cette formation de jazz interprètera des compositions de : George Benson, Wayne Shorter, D’Angelo, HB KING ou encore de Eudora Cabéria.

Thursday April 29, 2021, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Town Hall of Matoury.

As part of the International Jazz Day, and after the success of the 1st edition Matoury makes his jazz (April 2019), the city of Matoury and its School of Music and Dance Victor CLET mark the event again through a mini-concert on the forecourt of the town hall.

Passers-by and visitors who have completed administrative procedures will enjoy a musical touch, something to soften manners in these constrained times.

For wider dissemination and taking into account the health context, a Facebook Live broadcast will be offered to the public.

11:05 am - 11:45 am | Quintet Gang
The Quintet Gang is made up of two teachers from the School of Music and Dance Victor CLET : Jacques SAINTE-ROSE-FANCHINE (piano) and Edwin MARIE (drums); and three musicians from the Guyanese music scene: Georges MAC (percussions), Erwan ESCOUPLIER (saxophone) and Jean VALMINOS (bass guitar).

This Latin jazz group will perform compositions by Paquito d´Rivera and Mango Santamaria.
