Précédé du film documentaire : « Chantal Loaïl et la créolisation » 50 min, le spectacle sera aussi suivi d’une animation de Gwo Ka.

Un jardin extraordinaire est bientôt terni. Tour à tour mémoire des durs labeurs des esclaves et évocation de l’histoire des afro descendants, figure exotique et symbole d’émancipation, ce jardin vient nous relier aux problématiques du présent. Il est ici affaire de domination et d’exploitation : des sols, des hommes, des femmes, aujourd’hui comme hier.

An extraordinary garden is soon tarnished. In turn memory of the hard work of slaves and evocation of the history of Afro descendants, exotic figure and symbol of emancipation, this garden connects us to the issues of the present. It is here a matter of domination and exploitation: soil, men, women, today as yesterday.
